Laser in Anti ageing Treatment can work wonders. Dr.Radha describes how you can put the hands of the clock back with laser therapy in anti ageing.

Most of us would rather not have to look into the mirror and have those dreaded wrinkles stare back at us. Well in that case, you may have heard of laser resurfacing - an anti wrinkle treatment option that's used by many women.

How does Laser work in Anti ageing Treatment?

The process is really quite simple. A small light energy laser will destroy the top layer of skin very quickly. It then heats the dermis, which is what stimulates the skin to grow. With the top layer of skin removed your body needs to regenerate and replace that skin with new fresh skin, which will look healthier, and less wrinkled.

Other anti ageing procedures with the help of  laser conducted in Cosmolaser, Sharjah, UAE.

1. Skin tightening

This skin tightening procedure is ideal for targeting those telltale signs of aging, including jaw and neck laxity, sagginess under the eyes, saggy brow lines, and nasolabial folds

How does it work? Without damaging the skin's surface pulsed light safely and effectively heats the inner layer- dermis of the skin inducing formation of collagen, essential for firm young look.

2. Removal of "Age spots"

Age/sun spots are flat, brown discolorations of the skin which usually occur on the back of the hands, neck and face of people over the age of 40. These spots give away a person's age and are caused by the skin being exposed to too much sun over many years without adequate sunscreen protection

The laser works by targeting the brown pigment, or "melanin," present in the skin of these spots. This pigment absorbs the laser's energy and becomes scattered within the skin's tissues. The rest is done by the body's own immune system as the skin's cleansing cells, called "macro-phages," digest the excess pigment and clear it from the area.

3. Correcting photoageing

Photodamaged skin shows variable clinical manifestations on face, neck and extensor surface of upper extremities. Face is characterized by sallowness, dryness, coarseness, wrinkles, furrows, freckles etc. Blue-black soft bumps (venous lakes) are seen on lower lip, helix of the ear and neck. Irregular pigmentation and scars are usually present on the forearms and back of hands. Chronically sun exposed people present with furrows in the neck in a criss-cross fashion, dividing the thick leathery skin

Laser works by completely removing the epidermis and part of the dermis which results in wound remodeling with subsequent new collagen and elastin fiber formation that translates into healthier, firmer, and tighter skin.
